The Norwegian Embassy held an event for the Norwegian Constitution Day and a celebration for the 75th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations of Norway with the Philippines last May 16, 2023, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in BGC. Guests started coming in and they were all very eager to look at the booths outside of the main event. As one of the event’s partners, NTC was able to showcase its display.
Before the event started, Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines, Christian Lyster, greeted everyone who entered the Grand Ballroom, dressed in traditional Norwegian clothing, along with his wife.

As the event began, Ambassador Lyster gave his speech commemorating the day, followed by Senior Undersecretary OIC Carlito Galvez Jr., and then USec. Carlos Soreta. The Ambassador then led the toast for the night, along with government representatives. This was followed by a surprise performance of the LPU-Batangas NSA Cadets. The evening ended with a Scandinavian feast.
