Job Description:
- Must have background and experience in PC troubleshooting (Windows platform). Familiarity in Linux platforms will be an advantage.
- He or she must have background and experience in network cabling. Experience in enterprise class structured cabling infrastructure is an advantage.
- Must be flexible and must always be willing to learn.
- Must be ready to travel to different areas/locations to provide technical support and/or conduct inventory.
- Prepares and deploys computers for users based on instructions from the Technical lead or Head of IT.
- Maintains the integrity and good working order of all computers, computer-based simulators and peripherals used in the organization.
- Performs routine check-ups / preventive maintenance / inventory of all equipment under the NMFPI care and monitoring.
- Provides hardware, software and network technical support assistance on NMFPI property to users located in and out of the office.
- Performs, documents and files job orders from users.
- Maintains monitoring documentation of IT-related equipment and spare parts. Also included are the regular inventory, activity and status reports to Head of IT for equipment based in and out of the NMFPI head office.
- Makes recommendations, as needed by the Head of IT or Technical Lead in the replacement, repair and improvement of NMFPI equipment.
- Performs other IT-related tasks as deemed necessary within the organization.
