Nautical Training Officer

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year shipboard experience as Master Mariner onboard seagoing vessels.

→ Holder of IMO Model Courses 6.09, 3.12 and 6.10 certificates

• With teaching experience in the relevant field.

Preferably with experience in the use and operation of Kongsberg Bridge and Cargo Handling Simulators

• Preferably with experience onboard Chemical Tankers as Chief Officer

• Preferably with updated STCW Certificate of Competency

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Conducts nautical courses (Bridge and Crrgo Handling Simulator Courses)

• Assist in nautical courses development

• Evaluates the competence of Deck Officers for pre-employment

• Carries out substantial review of nautical courses.
