This course is intended for Engine Officers and Electro-Technical Officers responsible for the operation and maintenance of Electronic Engine. The course covers technical lessons on the design, principles, operating procedures, and maintenance activities including aspects of electronic & electrical arrangements leading to the safe, efficient, and optimal performance of the electronic engine system. 

COURSE AIMS & OBJECTIVES: The course aims to provide applied knowledge and practical understanding of the principles, design, operation, and maintenance of Electronic-Controlled Engine, enabling participants to safely & efficiently operate the engine and respond to alarms and faults in the control system.

  • Electrical Signals and Cabling
  • Electronic Engine Power Supplies
  • Electrical Noise on Electronic Engine
  • Introduction to LNG/Gas/Dual Fuel Engines
  • Simulation / Demo: Preparing, Starting, and Operating ME-C Engine with Elements of Alarms and System Faults (Using Engine Room Simulator)
