This e-learning course is intended for deck & engine officers and ratings. The course is designed to provide knowledge and practical understanding of the aim and the regulations contained in the Ballast Water management (BWM) Convention, including enforcement & compliance measures; the purpose and record-keeping requirements of the BWM Plan; and overview of the methods of managing ballast water including treatment technologies.
