This course is intended for Masters and Senior Ship Officers as well as ship personnel ready for promotion to senior level positions. It provides knowledge and instruction on the use of pertinent rules & regulations relevant to ships and ship operations in accordance with the Norwegian Passenger and Cargo Ship Legislation; and in pursuance of the requirements set forth by the Norwegian Maritime Authority concerning qualification and certificates for seafarers.

COURSE AIMS:
The course aims to provide knowledge on pertinent international and national rules and regulations pertaining to shipboard management & administration on NIS Ships. Course instructions & exercises focus on attaining and using relevant information and procedures to arrive at proper decisions.
