NELI-ORB PART II

This e-learning course is intended for deck officers as well as ship masters on board oil tankers of 150 gross tonnage and above. The course mainly deals with the entries to be made in the Oil Record Book Part II, in accordance with the requirements for oil tankers as prescribed in MARPOL Annex I, for recording relevant cargo/ballast operations.  

COURSE AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
After successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Familiarize with MARPOL Annex I requirements when making entries in ORB Part II
  • Align ORB Part II record-keeping to be compatible with other shipboard logbooks and records
  • Simplify onboard work of the responsible officers and Masters by understanding the use of proper codes and item numbers when making entries in the ORB Part II
